With the drumsticks as a surreal, metaphorical stand-in for the street rhythms of dub, the poster is meant to allow active meaning-making and decoding, with the goal of helping build awareness not just of reggae in general—but in particular the rich (and occasionally overlooked) early Dub culture of various soundsystems.
