Rhythmic design based on reggae music With symbols of the flag and the people of Jamaica
The poster is a visual reference to reggae dub music; to its space, depth and vibrations.
My poster represant a woman inspired by the spiritual idea of the reggae and the message to give to the world as good vibes
In this poster I wanted to show the feeling I get listening to music.
Reggae is music that makes our world better. It doesn’t matter what you look like, where you come from, what religion you follow, or the color of your skin; we’re all human beings and we can listen reggae music.
Music knows no boundaries and it is a bridge that connects people around the world.
Reggae brings meaningful message through songs to the world
The poster takes Bob Marley as the prototype, and creates a warrior image holding hammered string instrument and gramophone record. In my opinion, Bob Marley is not only the father of reggae music, but also a civilian music fighter with the spirit of independence and freedom.
Over a powerful chromatic background with an African/dreadlock connotation, are drawn 3 signs: The crown represents the yellow, the African wealth, and the relation with Ethiopia and its beliefs. The heart represents the red, the blood, the love, the feeling, and the kindness. The marihuana leave represents the green, the nature, the rites, the reflexive character, and the spirituality.
Reggae music means excitement, joy and energy. This poster is a world of colors combined with yellow, red and green. Yellow is more for the world to hope for peace and beauty. And that lion that symbolizes reggae music that is lovely.
