People caught up in modern slavery can disappear without a trace. Some tracks may spark a search but they get overrun by others, never to reappear again.

title: “Stop human trafficking”
designer: Jakub Balicki
year: 2021
Poster is about how one can save a person just by speaking, communicating provided helpline number. Make people aware about the helpline numbers and experts bring attention to global issues.
The plastic bags in the work and the price on the front of the bags all imply human trafficking, and the hands extending from the plastic bags have decayed, implying that victims who have been tortured by human trafficking have experienced pain, expressing that treating people as commodities is an anti-humanity behavior.
When you are facing the darkness of human trafficking, please be brave and seek for help! The help from others will shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of trafficking.

The poster is inspired by the song, shadow after dark. We tried to express a woman trapped in the shadow. To add depth to the dark shadow, we added textures and prints. We used torn background images specifically to represent how victims are torn away from their families. We also added the handprint following the logo.
Light does not necessarily show what’s hidden. Shadows can consume you even when standing in light.
