Traffickers around the world kidnap and trade women and children, use violence against them and hold them captive. These women and children are constantly traded, forced into prostitution and labor, causing great physical and mental persecution. They are like Barbie dolls in the hands of the buyer, who can only be manipulated and destroyed.
Human trafficking is the third largest crime industry in the world, behind drug dealing and arms trafficking, and is the fastest-growing activity of trans-national criminal organizations. My name is Petros Marzelos, born in Greece, I studied graphic design, sketching, and web design. I have participated in several poster competitions. The poster is a mix of illustration and pagination, the couple in the photo is from an article in “Independent” newspaper . (photographed by Sandra Hoyn)
People of all ages are suddenly lost. Many issues could not be clarified. In this poster I wanted to talk about the kidnapping of refugee children. Some are sold by the organ mafia and others as slaves to pedophiles. They desperately need any steps to take in this regard. And this is one step.
A man with his hands tied, a bar code like a cage. Always be warned: stop human trafficking.
An sinful black hand stretches to a panic manual doll, under the dark shadow, the population is selling.
The Lock, a simple metaphor for the plight of millions.
No matter your race, color, belief, or sexuality, all people are equal. No one is more important or priority than another. Thus nobody can ever buy anyone. All human trafficking must end immediately. NO MORE!
With human traffickers using ever-changing methods and younger victims, more and more people are falling into the hands of human traffickers. “20xx” this work constitutes elements and the use of color has strong abstractness and characterization of sex, geometry is the secret of beauty and everything in the world can be used geometry to survey, it is the most simple the most concise, image design, at the same time, it is the most extensive and profound, connotation is rich, modelling is the most perfect design. The circles in the work represent trafficked people, while the rectangles form cages to guard trafficked people. The author hopes to use his work to raise awareness about human trafficking.
The poster deals with trafficking in women. The perforation is like of commercial product, an image of how the trafficked women are being treated.
The rough tearing is a way to show the pain and make the viewer identify with the women.
