The combination of characters and animals shows the situation and encounters of trafficked persons, and reflects the state of being objectified to visiting or selling animals after being deprived of their freedom and self-esteem, etc.

When referring to human trafficking people are alone and unsure what is going to happen to them. The idea of “Shadow” is a piece trying to depict what a human trafficking victim can face. Where they are alone, scared, and unsure of what is going to happen next. The hand and shadow referring to the fear and unrest the victim may feel being in the situation.
This work is inspired by the song Shadows After Dark. Human trafficking cases are a serious problem for everyone. human trafficking causes inhuman slavery practices. it’s a matter of law and humanism. This work invites us to protect victims of human trafficking and for all people to be careful with it, the dark shadow of human trafficking offender
Lollipops with long thorns represent a fatal temptation. Human trafficking is a sweet trap.
People should not be treated as commodities, let alone as a source of economic income. We should stop this behavior and speak up for them.Combining the word “strawberry” with the word “stop” is an advocacy to stop treating people as commodities.
