Tomoko Miyagawa was received the M.S. in Fine Arts from Aichi University of the Arts, Aichi Japan in 2015, and B.A. in Education from Gifu University, Gifu Japan, in 1999.
She is now an assistant professor of Design and Fine Arts Course in Ogaki Women’s College.
She managed of repository and designed website, posters, books and so on of Ogaki Poster Museum, Japan from 1996.
She was a graphic designer, web designer, and illustrator at Yu-graphic from 1999 to 2016.
She was a Part-time teacher at Aichi Sangyo University from 2003 to 2017, and a Research Associate of Yokohama University of Art and Design From 2017 to 2018.
She won three big prizes. 1st is Honorary mention at Tribute to Henryk Tomaszewski Poster Competition, Poland, in 2006. 2nd is Top 10 posters at Poster for tomorrow 2010 Death is not Justice, France, in 2010. 3rd is Best in show at Best In Show Poster Competition & Exhibition, U.S.A., in 2015.
Her several posters have been selected and collected world’s competitions or museums.
